Stanley Family Reserve

A fun little "side project" we recently designed for Paul Stanley of KISS: His friend in Uruguay, who is the owner of the Yellow Rose Vinyards in Punta del Este produced a limited run of Pinot Noir wine for Paul’s personal Stanley Family Reserve for which we designed the label featuring one of Paul's paintings. It was packaged in a beautiful 3-bottle box and gifted to his friends.

    About This Project

    Photographer Ross Halfin was hired to oversee the photo editing of this massive book project about his friend and legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. And thanks to him, we were brought on board to design the outer packaging of the various versions of the book, which by the way is the biggest limited edition that Genesis has produced to date. The books are hand-bound in morocco leather and laser-cut Perspex and the translucent front and back boards are screen-printed with two of the author’s favorite portraits. The book is presented in a hand-crafted slipcase that is bound in a ‘midnight hue’ silk. Blocked in gold leaf, the slipcase also features a morocco leather trim.
