KISS’s first studio album in what seemed an eternity. The main challenge was to determine the initial stylistic direction. Paul Stanley suggested the same illustrator who already created their ‘Rock And Roll Over’ cover back in the mid 70’s. We thought that was a perfect solution. After the cover was done, we spun that same style further throughout the digipak. A little fun fact: it all was printed in Terre Haute, IN, where the KISS Army was founded.
Note: The 12” vinyl was printed in five different colored discs: red, blue, purple, green and black. Super collectable!
